My review of Heartthrob by Willow Winters

Harlow May was in high school when she began dating Nathan Hart and was in love with him until one night changed everything. Now she has a small role in a TV show when she spots Nathan and can't believe that he is there.

Nathan Hart is now an actor with a past that involves prison and being "saved" by his agent Mark. Yet when he spots Harlow his life begins to go into a tailspin and he is distracted by the thoughts he has of her.

Can the two figure out how to move on from the past or are they once again destined for heartbreak?

This was a great book about overcoming a secretive past to try and move onto a secure and love filled future.

Neither Harlow or Nathan had truly moved on from their past and still had feelings for each from the way the night ended. When they see each other again they know that the past needs to be discussed but Nathan is hesitant and both are still scared.

I really liked the innocence of Harlow yet at the same time she toughened up a little and didn't want to be humiliated in the press and vowed to focus on herself. I thought that was great but I knew she still needed Nathan.

Nathan was interesting as you knew he had built walls around himself and everything went back to that day but you never knew exactly what happened. He was a tough guy on the exterior but inside you knew he was going through so much with seeing Harlow and knowing he didn't want to let her get away this time.

The tension between Nathan and Harlow was so intense and you knew when the eventually got together it was going to be hot! I loved how they came together and had to work through a lot but they ultimately knew how much they loved each other and wanted it to work.

The ending was awesome and I loved these two characters!

4 Stars
