My review of Dirty Talk by S.L. Scott

Jane Lewis is trying to figure out her own love life. She is "engaged" to Lawrence Reinstardt, a successful entertainment lawyer, but part of her heart remains with her ex-boyfriend, Luke Anders. She is over the moon when she sells one of her screenplays that is going to be made into a movie.

Luke Anders has never gotten over ex-girlfriend Jane Lewis and has had many one-night stands since they broke up, vowing never to get close to another woman. When Luke buys Jane's screen play he hopes it will bring them back closer together and he is willing to go to any length to prove he has changed and how much he regrets his past mistakes.

Yet unfortunately for Luke and Jane there are others that have no idea on their past and wish to change the future, one that doesn't include the two of them together. Will Jane and Luke find a way to overcome the past or will it just be too much for them to handle a second time?

I enjoyed this book and I found myself siding a little more with Luke with everything. He made a lot of mistakes and was admitting them whereas Jane initially wasn't seeing the mistakes that she made.

There was definitely a lot of tension on the set and it was interesting how Jane and Luke his their past from everyone as they thought it would influence the outcome. Luke had so much riding on the movie and I was definitely pissed at Robert at the end of the book!! I can't believe he did that to Luke!!

This was the first book I have read by this author and it won't be my last.

4 Stars
