Review of Save Me (Taken Series) by Whitney Cannavina

I really enjoyed this book but it is not a happy book, especially since the next book is not out yet.

Sierra is kidnapped at 18 by a man she thought she could trust. She had no idea on how much this man was infatuated by her, yet he may not be working alone. All Sierra knows is how she feels and how she regrets not telling the love of her life, her brother's best friend, how she felt about him.

Forrest has been close with Sierra and her brother Damon for many years and has been taken in by her family. But he has kept secrets from the family and he may have to rely on these secrets to save Sierra when she has been kidnapped.

Yet, it appears that everyone has secrets and no one is really safe, even when they think they are.

The book left me with such a cliff-hanger as we don't know what is going to happen to Sierra. She is tough but she is going through so much which is so difficult to read. Yet, the book talks about sex-trafficking and how it is still happening and can be organized by people we trust which is so sad.

There is a bit of repetitiveness in the book as the book is done with several points of view but the language is different depending on who's point of view it is.

I did enjoy the book and am looking forward to the next one!
